  • Flash steam power plants, on the other hand, convert hot water from the reservoir into steam as it rises to the surface due to pressure reduction.
  • Binary cycle power plants employ a heat exchanger to transfer heat from the geothermal fluid to a secondary fluid with a lower boiling point, which then vaporizes and drives a turbine.

Geothermal plants have a diverse range of applications, including generating electricity, providing heating and cooling for buildings, and supporting industrial processes and agriculture.
