# NIU Twin Battery E-Bike with Swappable Batteries

The NIU twin battery e-bike gives you a 90-mile range but comes at affordable prices in comparison to other e-bikes. BQI-C3 e-bike has other features like disc brakes and a display screen for better handling.

E-bikes are more common today than they were a few years back, but there is still one thing that people are skeptical about. Yes, you guessed it right, the range of the on-board battery. If you are also concerned about the same, then [NIU](https://www.niu.com/) a Chinese mobility company, got you covered. The company has installed 2 batteries to give it a **90-mile range**. The BQI-C3 e-bike is assembled by NIU, but the company is a known name for making affordable mopeds and [electric scooters](https://energytheory.com/norway-has-the-most-number-of-electric-vehicles/).

At a **retail price of $1,999**, the NIU e-bike is way more cost-effective and has pretty appealing exteriors. The two 460 Wh batteries are nicely installed into the frame of the bike and power the [Bafang](https://bafang-e.com/en/home/) sourced hub motor. There is no need to switch between batteries while you ride. The bike has a belt drive rather than a conventional chain, which might make maintenance easier for some beginners.

There are built-in rear and front lights and a pair of mechanical disc brakes for better control. Plus, the bike has a bright screen mounted on its handles along with a small control panel to on/off and shift between modes. Your bike’s top speed can be 28 mph pedal assist and 20 mph throttle.

It has a 5V USB port and Gates carbon belt drive. It is backed with an industry-leading **2-year warranty** and Patented NIU Battery Management. It is classified in Class 2 and Class 3 E-bike with easy switching.
