Let us learn now, all the reviews and specifications regarding JA solar vs Canadian solar. Read to the end of the article to learn about JA solar vs Canadian solar which is better? And other facts related to it.
Ja Solar vs Canadian Solar Overview
JA Solar is a global leader in the production and development of high-efficiency solar panels and sustainable energy technology. They were founded in 2005, and since then have become well-known for their superior Monocrystalline and polycrystalline 60 and 72-cell solar panels. Since their modules have been used in numerous residential installations as well as business and utility solar energy systems, JA Solar has earned the confidence of both consumers and industry experts. Owners of JA Solar systems benefit from premium solar panel efficiency at a mid-range price as well as a product guarantee that exceeds industry standards.
Canadian Solar has established a solid reputation as one of the more dependable suppliers of inexpensive solar panels for residential and business uses thanks to its two decades of experience in the solar panel manufacturing industry. Canadian Solar, despite ranking among the top five solar panel producers worldwide, is typically quite cautious and takes its time to introduce new technologies. The newest PV cell advancements are found in the HiKu6 and HiKu7 line panels, which are among the most effective lower-cost panels on the market.
Ja Solar vs Canadian Solar Efficiency
As you have learned about the background of JA solar vs Canadian solar, let us move forward to JA solar vs Canadian solar efficiency. The term solar panel efficiency describes how effectively a solar panel absorbs sunlight and transforms it into usable energy. A solar panel with a higher efficiency will generate more energy under the same circumstances as a panel with a lower efficiency. Due to this reason, a higher efficiency rating is usually preferred.

JA Solar vs Canadian Solar Performance
Whenever comparing JA solar and Canadian’s solar output or performance, the output refers to the performance relative to the temperature. Here are a few things you should learn about the temperature coefficient:
- The temperature index is frequently used as an indication of the effectiveness of panels.
- The capacity of your solar panel to operate in less-than-ideal circumstances is indicated by its temperature coefficient.
- Similar to other electronics, solar panels work best when kept cool, preferably at or below 25 °C (77 °F).
- The temperature coefficient can be used to predict how your panel will function on hot, sunny summer days. Your solar panel’s ability to produce electricity will decline by its temperature coefficient for every degree above 25° C (77° F).
JA Solar Panel Performance
The smallest solar panel in JA Solar’s new n-type product range has a 435 W power output and a 22.3% power conversion efficiency, according to the company. The largest module in the series has a nominal power of 625 W and an efficiency grade of 22.4%. Their measure of temperature is -0.30% per degree Celsius.
Canadian Solar Panels Performance
Over the span of a year, your solar panels will probably experience more than a few hot, sunny days, so ideally, they should have the lowest temperature coefficient possible. The temperature coefficients of Canadian solar cells range from -0.41 to -0.35.

I would love to know how your overall costs are worked out considering Canadian panels are 3 x the price (6kw = $16200-19200) of JA (6kw = $5800) – to me it doesn’t quite make sense.
