The co-founders of Bird Buddy are Ziga Vrtacic, Franci Zidar, and Kyle Buzzard.
Ziga Vrtacic is an experienced professional with over 10 years of experience in startups and established corporations. He worked as the product director of My Talking Tom, and he co-founded DJND, a non-profit organization focused on civic tech. In 2019, he was invited to speak at seven tech conferences worldwide. He co-founded Bird Buddy, which rapidly became the most funded Kickstarter project ever in the Gadgets category.
With a bachelor’s degree in web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design from SAE Institute Ljubljana and over 12 years of professional experience, Franci Zidar started as a Web Designer/Developer in 2007. He then moved on to become the Head Lecturer at SAE Institute Ljubljana and subsequently co-founded and led several successful ventures. In 2020, Franci assumed the role of CEO & Co-Founder of Bird Buddy.
Kyle Buzzard holds a bachelor’s degree in industrial design from the University of Cincinnati and possesses a strong professional background in industrial design and product innovation. In 2020, he became the co-founder of Bird Buddy and also took on an advisory role for SUPLMNT. He has received more than two dozen prestigious international design awards for his outstanding industrial design work.
