EVs are still a fairly new thing to the new and so not much is known about them apart from the fact that they are set to be vehicles of the future. However, if at the moment we told you that an EV was capable of taking you from London to Glasgow or Paris to Frankfurt on a single charge then you wouldn’t believe us, and rightly so. But in actuality, it is possible since the recently unveiled Fisker Ocean sets a European record for covering 707 km or 440 miles on a single charge.

While it might be hard to believe WLTP measurements conducted on Fisker Ocean Extreme back the distance. However, the test was conducted on the model with 20-inch wheels. Also, other factors such as external environment, vehicle use, configuration, and more will contribute to the final range.

Talking about the Fisker Ocean, CEO Henrik Fisker said, “From the beginning, we planned the Fisker Ocean to deliver the highest level of design, sustainability, innovation, usability, and range. We created a fantastic five-passenger vehicle, offering our buyers range confidence and convenience on every trip. This achievement is a major milestone for everyone at Fisker, and we are delighted the range exceeds our initial calculations.”

Earlier it was assumed that Fisker Ocean would only offer a range of 390 miles. However, the recently unveiled Fisker Ocean sets a European record for covering 707 km or 440 miles on a single charge.

The car is all set to be ahead of claimed ranges of all the vehicles available on the European EV market. BMW, Ford, Mercedes, and Tesla are some of the companies whose EVs are beaten by Ocean Fisker to claim this honor.

Fisker Ocean is not just a zero-emission EV but also a work of top craftsmanship combined with ingenious engineering, innovation, affordability, and sustainability.

The car will be launching in three versions which are Extreme, Ultra, and Sport. The production of Ocean Fisker began in Magna’s factory in Graz, Austria on November 22nd, 2022.

On 11 April 2023, the first Fisker European centers will be opening in Vienna and Copenhagen. In addition, more centers will be added to the US and European markets in 2023.

The 5,000 models that will be delivered are expected to be the Ocean One launch edition which comes with features such as California Mode for one-touch open-air driving, a SolarSky panoramic view, a 17.1-inch long infotainment screen that can rotate between portrait and landscape modes, and a Limo mode where second-row occupants will get control over their media volume and HVAC output.
